I’m in my early 70’s and had to have my bladder removed for cancer. The good news was that after my 8 week follow up the surgeon said I was cancer free...
...The bad news was that 12 weeks after surgery one of my legs started swelling up and became hot and red and uncomfortable. I was referred round the system to be checked out for DVT etc but no-one seemed to know what to do with me. It took the best part of 3 months to get a referral to the NHS lymphoedema clinic to get compression garments fitted. I was so grateful to find Susie on the internet and that she was able to fit me in much sooner. The combination of manual lymph drainage and Hivamat treatment and heaps of advice and reassurance really helped get me back on my feet. She was great in teaching a friend how to do the MLD and I managed to find a (rare)portable Hivamat on eBay so now I’m well set up and about to head off on a 100 mile pilgrimage in Spain. Still adjusting to this being a lifetime thing now, but so grateful to have been able to get the treatment I needed at the right time.

I have primary Lymphoedema, which I manage by a combination of compression, swimming and MLD. The MLD ensures that there is no deterioration and the expertise provided by Susie is an integral part of managing this long term condition.

Following surgery in 2017 the result of a cancer diagnosis I have a degree of lymphoedema which leads to swelling in my lower limbs. Having been a fit and active man in my mid 60’s I was keen to resume my normal lifestyle...
...which includes walking, cycling and kayaking. Thankfully I have managed to achieve this with regular MLD treatment combined with wearing compression which helps to keep my limbs healthy and in good shape.
Susie takes time to explain how the lymphatic system works which really helps my understanding and management of lymphoedema and has helped me feel confident I have the condition under control. In my experience Susie brings a very positive approach to the treatment of her patients inspiring and encouraging them in their recovery and every day lives.

I spent a lot of my childhood in hospital and have had mobility issues all my life. I first started looking for supportive therapies outside the NHS about 35 years ago and alternative / complementary therapies and healing have been one of my main interes
I was introduced to Manual Lymphatic Drainage ("MLD") about 15 years ago by a highly regarded Naturopath that I was going to at the time. She said that, as a therapy, she couldn't recommend MLD highly enough to people like me with oedema issues.
In those early days I had a good few treatments. After that, MLD became something that I would return to whenever I felt the need. As I have moved home during those 15 years, Susie is the third MLD therapist that I have been to. I have been seeing her since 2014.
It has always been a delight to receive a treatment from Susie. In recent years she has taken her training in MLD to levels far beyond that of the therapists that I have known in the past. She has a real passion for her work - it might even be described as her calling in life. That enthusiasm and love for what she does makes a real difference to the quality of the treatment that she gives. From my perspective, she's taken a good therapy and made it great!
After suffering a bad fall earlier this year, when my ankle was slow to heal and the integrity of the tissue appeared severely compromised, Susie was able to help where nothing else had worked. She used her Hivamat Oscillation machine on my ankle to dramatic effect and the subsequent healing was remarkable.
My only reservation about giving this testimonial is a selfish concern - that, if she becomes too busy, I may find it harder to get an appointment’

Susie was highly recommended to me by two other people. Her ability to understand my problems, offer MLD treatment and teach me how to manage my foot between sessions, has resulted in excellent progress. I look forward to my treatments with her. Than
